I was very sorry for all the damage that happened to people’s houses this summer during the hail storm, and then again in the wind and rain storm that occurred a few weeks later. I know it was a huge headache for a lot of people.
Truth is…I’m lying.
I secretly wish we would have had some of that storm damage! Only because we really needed to replace our roof, and it sure would have been a lot cheaper to tap into (the ridiculously expensive) insurance we pay for to cover the cost of the roof.
No. I’m thankful we didn’t get the damage. Really I am. I’m also thankful to Kerzman Roofers who got us in at the very last moment (before the cold and terrible windy weather happened mid-October) and got our roof done. Before all that crazy rain. Before it got so cold. Before winter.
So on a couple of the last really nice days in October, the crew worked at lightening speed and tore off all the old shingles, laid down that tar paper stuff, fixed a few areas that had been done improperly the first time around, got the shingles on in perfect order AND left my yard, patio and driveway looking better than it did when they got here. This is NOT a commercial! It IS a great big thank you and shout out to a great company who does great work and was a great pleasure to do business with!
Thanks guys! You did an awesome job and gave us great peace of mind.
So, ravage on Mr. Winter! We’re ready for you now!
