In the beginning

If today is the first day of the rest of my life, then this blog is the first blog of the rest of my life! So, HAPPY 2008. My hope for each of you is that this will be your best year ever!
Obviously, I'm new to this blog. But I'm excited at where it might take me. Yes...I can be described as "very random", which also includes "dreamer", "wishful thinker", "escapist" and sometimes downright "unrealistic". But it's only because I believe the world is so much bigger than any of us realize and I truly want to experience it ALL!
I love Jesus Christ above all, because I know that none of this fabulous world would be here without Him. I love my family, which includes by husband, two daughters and a son-in-law. I love my extended family, including two brothers, two sisters, their spouses, children and grandchildren. (However, part of this blog may include some of the insights as to why I hardly ever get to see them.)
I love scrapbooking, photography, my job, children (and their incredible wisdom!), my church, nature and just about anything that's living! (Except one particular four legged creature that many of my friends can tell you about!)
I hope to use this blog for several reasons. I want to journal my life...for me to look back on and hopefully see a progression of insightfulness and personal growth. I hope that others will view my blog and be encouraged. I hope to spread the message of the Savior and the absolute, incredible gift that He has for YOU (if you haven't already claimed yours!) And lastly, I'm hoping that this blog will be yet another way to connect with others out there who want to chat, get together, share or whatever. I truly believe that each of us are here for such a time as this. I hope you will become part of my blogging life, and I a part of yours as well...inspite of the randomness of it all.
