This morning Brian and I went to watch our friend, Andrew, in the Polar Plunge (raising money for Special Olympics! Yay, Andrew!)

 

I’m pretty sure that at this point he’s rethinking his decision to commit to this. (It was 17 degrees out).

Will he follow through?

 

OF COURSE HE WILL! Andrew always follows through!!!

It looks as though he wishes he hadn’t!

BEST. NEIGHBOR. EVER!

So, my wonderful neighbor was up bright and early baking, and sent a freshly baked batch of caramel rolls to work with me. WOW! They were still HOT! Boy, did our staff LOVE that! Thanks, John! They were amazing!

I did not shoot this picture today. But I “discovered” it today! I shot a bunch of sunset pictures on February 11th (#42 on Project 365). I overlooked this picture because it was so dark, but today as I was going through all of the pictures from that day, this one suddenly jumped out at me, and I really, really liked it! It is very dark, I realize that, but it truly was getting dark by then! I love the way the clouds “float” in front of the sun to make the designs.  And I really like the subtle light in the sky.

 

Then, I wondered what it would look like with the color taken out. So, I tried this:

It looks like the moon on the rise to me!!!

Actually, it’s a remote (toy) helicopter that our (church) neighbor was playing with this afternoon! It reminded me so much of spring, because when I was growing up my brother had a remote airplane that he would bring out in the spring when it got nice out! All the neighborhood kids would come over and watch and try to fly the plane!
